Our hearts are with the families of the 14 elementary students and teacher whose lives were taken today in yet another mass shooting in Uvalde, Texas, a predominantly Latinx community. We once again find ourselves forced to process our sadness and anger at this senseless act of violence and loss of life, just 10 days after the racially motivated Buffalo shooting. We will aim to channel the grief we feel today into supporting our communities and continuing our fight for racial justice and a safe and equitable society for all.
