Troy Cosey (He/Him)

Troy serves as Head of Platform for Kapor Center Investments. He currently leads a small but mighty team to diagnose and prioritize centralized operational support for the 25 GPs and 1,000+ companies inside the Fund of Fund’s portfolio. Born and raised in Oakland, his professional mission is to help use technology to economically empower underrepresented professionals. He’s spent the past 15 years leading strategic GTM initiatives and moonlighting as an advocate for equity and inclusion across Multi-Billion Dollar organizations like LinkedIn and Target. Most recently, he Co-Founded Strive, a Kapor-backed learning platform geared at helping companies develop managers and underrepresented talent. He and his team sold Strive to FranklinCovey at a 6X multiple in early ‘21. In his downtime, you can find him working on creative projects and exploring new corners of the town with his wife and young daughter. Troy is also an MLT Fellow and received his B.A from Washington University in St. Louis, where he was a John B. Ervin Scholar.
