Chris Busselle

Chris Busselle leads Kapor Enterprises, Inc., the family office of Freada Kapor Klein, Ph.D., and Mitch Kapor, which uses technology to close gaps of access and opportunity for low-income communities and communities of color.

Chris advances their gap-closing investment thesis through venture capital and supports Kapor Foundation, whose grants, research, and programmatic efforts focus on creating equitable pathways into tech, supporting AI-powered solutions that address racial-equity gaps, and advocating for regulation and policies that mitigate technology harms. 

Previously, Chris spent 15 years at Google working on social impact across education, clean energy, forced labor, and child sexual abuse prevention, using approaches that ranged from grantmaking and product management to venture investing. Prior to Google, Chris worked as a real estate attorney and investment banker. 

Chris lives in the San Francisco Bay Area where outside of work, he serves as chauffeur to his twin teenage boys, who don’t drive yet (and—if he has his way—never will).
