Crystal Chan

Crystal Chan is the Associate Digital Marketing Manager for Kapor Capital. She is passionate about using storytelling as a tool for social change and loves all things writing, design, and communications. Born and raised in the heart of San Francisco’s Chinatown, she has roots in community organizing and started her career working for nonprofits and in local government. Before Kapor Capital, she worked at another early-stage VC firm and several early-stage startups doing marketing.

Outside of work, she is a part of California Youth Rising, an Oakland-based youth development nonprofit that funds and supports youth-led social justice projects across California, and volunteers with NICOS Chinese Health Coalition, a nonprofit that enhances the health and well-being of San Francisco’s Asian and Pacific Islander communities. In her free time, she enjoys knitting, writing calligraphy, watching Hong Kong television dramas, and spending time with her three cats.
