Art Berliner

Art Berliner joined the Kapor Capital team as a Senior Advisor in 2021.
Art has a long history in the venture capital industry. He founded Walden VC in 1974. From inception Walden VC worked with Sprout Stage companies looking for mass markets. Art has led more than 100 investments in technology and consumer companies with multiple successful IPO and M & A exits. In Walden’s most recent fund, Art sourced and has sat on 7 portfolio company boards, three of which have had exits.
Art also co-founded Walden International and Walden Israel, successfully mentoring independent teams managing technology oriented funds in Asia and Israel respectively.
Prior to Walden, Art held research, sales and Corporate Finance roles at Sutro & Company where he discovered his passion for working with high growth companies.
He received his Bachelor of Science and MBA with Honors from the University of California at Berkeley.
