Brandon Boros

Brandon joined Kapor Capital in 2024 as a Venture Partner.

Prior to Kapor, Brandon developed and led the direct investing platform at Align Impact, a multi-billion-dollar advisory firm working with individuals, families, and foundations to create custom impact investing strategies. Prior to Align, he worked with Impact Engine, a Chicago-based VC investing in early-stage technology companies across education, health, economic empowerment, and environmental sustainability. Previously, Brandon worked in M&A at BMO Capital Markets, closing over $2 billion worth of transactions across the education, food and consumer retail, and energy sectors. Prior to BMO, Brandon worked in portfolio management at Northern Trust, advising non-profit clients, including university endowments and family foundations. He began his professional life as a proprietary derivatives trader on the floor of the Chicago Board of Options Exchange.

Brandon has a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He earned his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Outside of work, you can find Brandon on a tennis or pickleball court or at home playing games and spending quality time with his wife and two daughters.
