Learn the basics of programming a web application in this friendly and easy-to-follow workshop! Ruby on Rails is a popular technology that powers thousands of websites and web applications throughout the world. Its strength lies in its ability to help developers create web applications quickly and with little hassle, which makes it particularly popular within the startup community. • Cloud9 – sign up ahead of time to keep the workshop running smoothly:

Join us on Thursday, December 1, at the Kapor Center for Social Impact to learn some coding skills and to meet other like-minded folks in Oakland! We’ll also have information available on the upcoming cohorts of the Actualize web-development training program and apprenticeship.  The Kapor Center for Social Impact is committed to supporting tech diversity and inclusion efforts.
