FinTech Forum – Oakland

Village Capital, in partnership with eBay Foundation, the Kapor Center for Social Impact and the Center for Financial Services Innovation, is recruiting local Oakland FinTech startups for an Oakland FinTech Forum.
The event will be a half-day workshop of business development training and mentorship for startups creating alternative financial technologies to benefit low-wealth individuals and small businesses. At the end of the session, startups will pitch their companies to local investors, business leaders, and potential customers. Two prizes of $1,000 will be awarded to the highest audience-ranked startup, as well as the startup ranked highest by the other startups in the event.
