How to Talk to Your Boss About Race Book Launch Event

February 2, 2022 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Free

Racism is the default in our society and nowhere is the issue of race more embedded than in the workplace. Fighting racism at work means pushing the workplace to become something that it has never been before—truly equitable. As we contend with the Great Resignation and the impact of Covid, particularly among those most marginalized, it’s become more critical than ever to talk about race in the workplace.

Y-Vonne Hutchinson is the CEO and founder of ReadySet, a diversity and inclusion training firm that helps tech giants, political leaders, media outlets, and Fortune 500 companies speak more productively about racism and turn talk into action. Hutchinson founded ReadySet in large part due to her own experiences with racism in the workforce as a Black woman. To date, ReadySet has worked with hundreds of companies across the country to build, manage, and grow diverse teams. A graduate of Harvard Law, Hutchinson worked as an international labor and human rights lawyer for nearly a decade before founding ReadySet.
