Chantal Mpezo

Chantal Mpezo is the Operations Manager. Before joining SMASH full-time, Chantal helped launch the first SMASH site outside of California, serving as Program Coordinator at SMASH Morehouse. Chantal holds a B.A. in Theatre Arts from the University of West Georgia and an M.S in International Policy and Management from Kennesaw State University. After completing her master’s coursework, Chantal began her career as an English teacher in South Korea and then Programming Director for after-school programming in underserved communities in Atlanta. Chantal is passionate about educational equity and social justice and is excited to continue contributing to creating a better society for all through her work at SMASH.
