Listen For A Change Storytelling Event: Diversity & Inclusion, Income Inequality, Harassment in the Workplace

September 27, 2018 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

If last year was the year our country settled into a new reality, this is the year we question our complacency. From the #metoo movement to victims of gun violence, brave voices have been sharing their stories, forcing us to challenge our norms. Yet much remains the same. How are you a part of the solution? How can you better listen? 2018 is the year to #checkyourchill.

Join us for our final Oakland story hour of 2018 to stand up to hate, ignorance, and misinformation, and spread compassion through storytelling. No PowerPoints. No scripts. Just storytelling on a mission.

Tickets: RSVP for free tickets released two weeks before the event. This event will sell-out. Subscribe for early-bird tickets. Not in Oakland? Check out our full listing of events.
Space: We’ll be at a nice space in Downtown Oakland, so dress for the occasion. Mostly standing-room w/accommodations upon request.
Food/Drink: Hosted wine/beer and hors d’oeuvres.
Contributions: Your cash, Venmo, or credit card donations will be donated to three orgs represented that evening.

Join our volunteer team! Message us to feature your art or perform your music at our events!
