March 23, 2018 @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

The Kapor Center invites you to attend a full-day convening to discuss emerging research and share promising strategies to increase diversity across the technology ecosystem. All stakeholders working on increasing diversity in tech are invited and encouraged to attend, including researchers, D&I practitioners, educators, and funders.

This unique event will feature four panels across the following topic areas:

Engaging Girls of Color in Computer Science
Expanding Pathways into the Tech Workforce
Improving Diversity in Hiring and Retention in Tech
    Increasing Diversity in Tech Entrepreneurship

Each panel will include presentations from researchers from Kapor Center’s inaugural Grants for Research on Inclusive Tech (GRIT) portfolio, and short presentations about promising tools and programs. All panels will conclude with the opportunity for attendees to engage in discussions about the topics being presented and identifying potential opportunities for collaboration and expansion of research and strategies.
